Peter Winston (President & CEO)

  Peter Winston is President and Chief Executive Officer of Project.net and its parent company, Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS) of Bedford, Massachusetts. ICS is the world's leading provider of advanced visual development tools and services for UNIX and Linux professionals. Mr. Winston is an entrepreneur and innovator. In 1992, he received the Inc. Magazine New England Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  

Roger Bly
Vice President, Research & Development
 

 

Roger Bly is a pioneer in the development of collaboration and project management software based on Internet technologies. Prior to founding Project.net, Mr. Bly spearheaded the development and adoption of product lifecycle management, project portfolio management, and Web-based collaboration applications at Rockwell International's Semiconductor division. Rockwell later spun-off the Semiconductor division as Conexant Systems where Mr. Bly served as a senior manager in charge of strategic information technology planning and project management. Prior to Rockwell, Mr. Bly served in various Engineering roles at Unisys and Brooktree Semiconductor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ed Lee
Vice President, Marketing
 

 

Ed Lee has been working in the software industry since 1981, in a variety of marketing and development roles for Hewlett-Packard and Integrated Computer Solutions. He helped develop one of the first user interface toolkits for the X Window System, and helped craft HP's technical and legal strategy behind donating that toolkit to the X Consortium. Mr. Lee later led the industry "community" that guided the development of OSF/Motif. These industry developments were the direct ancestors of today's Open Source movement. Mr. Lee also worked on new business creation in HP's Imaging and Printing organization during a period of rapid revenue and profit growth. At ICS, he led the product marketing organization that developed award winning user interface development tools. Mr. Lee has spoken frequently on the value of open systems and good user interfaces and has recently been working on new business creation for ICS and Project.net.

 

 
Ken Winston (Chief Community Officer)
Ken Winston is an IT executive with 20 years hands-on experience managing all aspects of Information Technology departments and technical units. Prior to joining Project.net, Mr. Winston was Director of Technology at Thirteen/WNET New York, "America's most watched public broadcaster" and flagship PBS station. During his tenure, Mr. Winston spearheaded the station's digital asset management and digital rights management projects, as well as many TV broadcast/IT convergence initiatives. Mr. Winston has also taught various IT subjects at Columbia University where he was Chair of the Network Systems & Security track as part of the University's Computer Technologies & Applications.
