Configuration

Configuration:

Change terminology, language, business rules and available functionality using several thousand configuration switches, text settings and look-and-feel settings in Project.net's configuration interface. In most cases, Project.net's default configuration is used with very few changes to configuration parameters.

Branded Look-and-Feel:

Provide multiple application configurations with unique, branded look-and-feel using Project.net's configuration engine. This allows the customer to create an interface that matches the company's color schemes and images, and is useful in providing customer Extranets integrated with the internal Intranet project execution application.

Templates:

Create templates using Project.net's powerful template facility: project phases, deliverable checklists, tracking databases, document folder structure and template documents, tasks, milestones, discussion group structure, security settings and more. Project.net templates enable users to create a custom project environment, either by applying "best practice" templates or by building new templates, with no programming required.

Customization

Project.net allows users to customize the application with various levels of programming. The application can be extended, enhanced and modified using Java Server Pagers (JSP), Java and XSLT stylesheets. A software development kit (SDK) is provided.

The product supports four levels of customization and branding:
