Deployment Architecture
The Project.net application can be run on a single server machine or deployed across a large, multi-tiered server farm. Web servers, application servers and databases can be deployed on separate hardware. A modern single processor server with 1GB of memory can support at least 200 users. Large multi-server deployments are usually limited only by the throughput of the database tier. Customers have successfully deployed 4,000+ user installations on a single database with 2-4 application server clusters.
